Basement Wall Collapses At Home In Hudson Valley, Building Condemned Three families were displaced after part of a residence collapsed in Putnam County, leaving the structure unsafe to occupy.  The collapse happened just after 12:30 p.m. on Monday, July 6, when firefighters and police responded to a home on See Avenue in Mahopac, according to the Mahopac Volunteer Fire Department.
